Our servers are located inside two of the largest datacenters in the USA.
EV1Servers operates two state-of-the-art data centers in Houston, Texas. EV1Servers facilities offer 100,000 square feet of web hosting space, and both centers feature redundant UPS, generator backup, and smoke detection/fire protection systems. Both locations are under 24/7 camera surveillance and armed guard patrol. EV1Servers is connected to the Internet through 14 Gigabit Ethernet links from six separate backbone providers. As of May 2004, EV1Servers host over 20,000 Windows and Linux web servers, which makes EV1Servers the world's largest dedicated web hosting provider.
The Planet currently owns and operates two state-of-the-art data centers in Dallas, Texas. Both offer complete redundancy in power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity, and security. With over 53,000 square feet of raised floor between the two facilities, The Planet has an offering to fit any need. The datacenter facilities sits atop multiple power grids driven by TXU electric with PowerWare UPS battery backup power and dual diesel generators onsite. HVAC systems are condenser units by Data Aire to provide redundancy in cooling coupled with nine managed backbone providers. Twelve more third party backbone providers are available in the building via cross connect. Fire suppression includes a pre-action dry pipe system including VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) with over 700 smoke detectors between the two facilities.
